Care Instructions

Because 100% cotton knit is a pure, natural fiber, it thrives with a little extra care (kuleana):

• Wash: Turn inside out. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors.

• Dry: For best results, line dry in the shade to preserve the shape of the knit. Or, tumble dry on low heat.

• Iron: Iron inside out on low heat. Do not iron directly over the design.

🌿 Quick Tip: To keep the knit from stretching out of shape, store your garment folded neatly rather than on a hanger!

100% Pure Cotton

Please Note: This shirt is made from 100% raw, unwashed cotton and is not pre-shrunk. Just like us, raw cotton is beautifully made but needs gentle care to maintain its true form. Follow these simple steps to preserve the fit and color.

Washing Your Tee

• Separate the Light from Dark: Always wash whites and blacks in separate loads to keep colors pure.

• Turn Inside Out: Protect the fabric and graphics by flipping the shirt inside out before washing.

• Keep it Cool: Machine wash using cold water on a gentle cycle. Hot water will shrink the untreated fabric.

• Liquid Detergent Only: Use liquid soap. Powder can leave white residue on dark fabrics and dull your whites.

Drying & Stewardship

• Air Dry (Recommended): hang to dry. This completely eliminates machine shrinkage.

  • For Blacks: Dry in the shade to prevent fading.

  • For Whites: Dry in the sun for a natural brightening boost.

• Low Heat Only: If you must use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting. High heat will shrink the shirt by a full size.

Ironing & Storage

• Iron Inside Out: Use medium heat and never iron directly over the design.

• Fold with Care: Fold neatly instead of hanging to keep the collar and shoulders from stretching out.
